Healing Through Creation

What to Expect

A clear, grounded look at how Soulfully Grateful sessions and group experiences work — before, during, and after — so you can feel informed and at ease.

Quick Answer

Soulfully Grateful sessions and group experiences usually begin with grounding, consent, and intention-setting. The exact flow depends on the offering, but the work is designed as spiritual wellness and reflective support, not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or crisis counseling.

Before, during, and after.

Before your session

  • A short intake to share your intentions and current context.
  • An intention prompt to help you clarify what you are bringing.
  • Simple preparation guidance so you arrive feeling ready.
  • A consent and scope review so you know what the session is and is not.

During your session

  • Grounding to arrive fully in the present.
  • A conversation about what feels present for you.
  • Meditation and inner listening.
  • Reiki or energy awareness work, if appropriate and consented to.
  • Shamanic-inspired ceremony, if appropriate and consented to.
  • Creative reflection or journaling prompts, if appropriate.
  • Your consent and choice shape every element.

After your session

  • Integration prompts to help you make meaning from the experience.
  • Suggested next steps based on what arose.
  • Clear boundaries around any follow-up support.
  • Space to rest and reflect at your own pace.

What you do not need to bring.

You do not need:

  • Prior experience with Reiki, meditation, or ceremony.
  • A specific set of beliefs or spiritual background.
  • To share more than you choose.
  • To perform, push, or prove anything.

What this work is not:

  • Not medical care or diagnosis.
  • Not therapy or psychotherapy.
  • Not crisis support or emergency care.
  • Not a guaranteed outcome.

Participation is voluntary. You may pause, decline, or stop any practice at any time. If any practice involves touch, movement, group sharing, or emotional reflection, your consent and personal choice remain central.

If you are in immediate danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or need urgent mental-health support, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis line. Soulfully Grateful does not provide crisis support.

Common questions.

What if I am nervous?
Feeling nervous is completely normal. Everything moves at your pace and is rooted in consent. You can ask questions before and during the experience, and you are never required to continue with anything that does not feel right.
Is this religious?
Soulfully Grateful offers spiritual wellness and reflective support that is not tied to any particular religion. You are welcome regardless of your beliefs or background.
Will I be touched?
Any touch practices require your explicit consent. The touch or no-touch approach will be confirmed clearly before a session.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes. Participation is voluntary. You may pause, decline, or stop any practice at any time.
What if emotions come up?
Emotions may naturally arise during reflective work. You will be supported with care and choice. However, Soulfully Grateful does not provide therapy or crisis support, and will encourage licensed support where appropriate.
Can I do this online?
Sessions may be offered online, in person, or as a hybrid experience. Details for each service are shared on the service page and clarified through the fit call. Please reach out through the contact form to ask about your preferred format.
